- 18.12.2011 - 20.12.2011 HYEX2011 International Workshop on Hybrid Excitations in Nano-MaterialsThe Conference, organized by Dept. Physics and CNR NANO S3 Modena, under the sponsorship of Fondazione Cassa di Risparmio di Modena, will consist of a 4-half-day program, with oral/poster sessions. All participants are invited to present their scientific contributions as an oral presentation or a poster. Scope The aim of the Workshop is to bring together scientists active in the synthesis and spectroscopy of hybrid nano-objects with theoreticians and computational physicists. We plan to discuss open problems and new venues in the description of hybrid excitations in composite materials at the nano-scale, to identify fundamental challenges and spot the most promising directions. Important deadlines October 31, 2011: abstract submission November 30, 2011: registration
