THREE-DIMENSIONAL DISPERSIBLE NANORESONATOR STRUCTURE FOR BIOLOGICAL, MEDICAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL APPLICATIONS AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURE THEREOF
A three-dimensional nanoresonator structure is described, comprising a stack of laterally confined layers including at least a first layer and a second layer of different conductive materials between which a dielectric layer is interposed, which have at least one respective accessible surface area exposed to an environment in which the structure is immersed. A plurality of three-dimensional nanoresonators dispersible in an environment is realized starting from an array of nanoresonators anchored to a sacrificial substrate, which are subsequently separated from the substrate and conjugated with a chemical agent to facilitate the formation of a stable colloidal suspension of nanoresonators in a liquid medium.

APPLICATIONS
-The three-dimensional nano-resonators conceived are similar to functionalized nano-antennas resonating in the infrared spectral range; they can be applied in biological, medical and environmental fields.
-The functionalization of the nano-antennas takes place chemically, making the exposed surface sensitive to interactions with the surrounding environment.
