- 20.09.2011 - 22.09.2011 WORKSHOP on ENTANGLEMENT IN SOLID STATE SYSTEMSThe new Institute NanoSciences of the Italian CNR organizes a WORKSHOP on ENTANGLEMENT IN SOLID STATE SYSTEMS. Time & location : Sept. 20-22 2011, Modena @ CNR NANO S3 The aim of the workshop is to bring together experts in different fields to compare approaches and strategies leading to the control of entanglement in different solid state quantum systems. More specifically, topics involved are: - solid state systems: nuclear & electronic spins, Quantum dots & wires, SC, impurities in solids, polaritons, entanglement in hybrid systems. -control (generation, robustness & transfer ) of entanglement in solid state systems. -measurement of entanglement. -quantum devices exploiting entanglement as resource.
