- 30.03.2012 - Two PhD Positions available within the EU networx INDEX in ModenaTwo three-year PhD positions are available to work at the Center S3 of Nanoscience Institute within the INDEX project. positions are reserved to students who have not resided or carried out their main activity (work , studies, etc) in Italy for more than 12 months in the last 3 years (short stays such as holidays are not taken into account). The successful candidates will be enrolled within the PhD school in Physics and Nanoscience of the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia. The economic treatment will comply with EU rules for Marie Curie actions. The prospective candidates will develop a theoretical description of the coherent transport of excitons, i.e., bosonic-like particles which are elementary excitations of solid-state materials.
