CnrNANO participates in R2B Research to Business event
The Nanoscience Institute of the National Research Council of Modena (CnrNANO) participates in R2B Research to Business - Smau, on 6-7 June 2019 at BolognaFiere. The institute presents a range of services dedicated to industrial research, made up of advanced skills for the study of materials and nanoscale devices at the border between basic and industrial research, in sectors ranging from mechanics to biomedicine, from stroke to energy.
At CnrNANO stand, located in booth E19 Hall 33, our researchers will showcase present services dedicated to supporting companies towards technological innovation. CnrNANO offers a number of research infrastructures with high technological content and high level competences, through collaborations in research projects or measurement and / or calculation activities, in topics where CNRNANO has a long and acknowledged experience. The fields of competence range from nanofabrication to applied microscopy, to the analysis of materials and biosystems on a micrometric and nanometric scale, to the characterization and growth of surfaces, interfaces and thin films. Furthermore, the CnrNANO simulation laboratory boasts a consolidated experience in the numerical simulation of the properties of materials and nano and bio systems through open source scientific software, which allow for example to calculate electronic, structural, vibrational, thermal, dielectric, optical, tribological properties , tribochemicals of materials.
R2B is also an opportunity to present CnrNANO projects recently funded by the Emilia-Romagna Region within the POR-FESR 2014-2020: Sergio Valeri of CnrNANO will present RIMMEL, a project dedicated to multi-functional and multi-scale coatings, for components mechanics in steel and aluminum alloys manufactured with additive manufacturing. The presentation during the workshop dedicated to Industry 4.0 (Friday 07, 1.00 pm).
