Research interests

My research is focused on the determination and characterization of the short, medium and long range order structures and physical properties of chalcogenides using computational simulations, such as molecular dynamics, in order to model devices for synaptic electronics and neuromorphic computing, as part of the European project INTERSECT.
Moreover, I worked on the interactions between proteins and metallic surfaces for biomedical applications.
